Our Story

Built With Skill. Named With Love.

Wall Genie is a Louisiana wallpaper installation company built around craftsmanship, thoughtful service, and a family name that means something to us.

Where It Started

Meet Genie.

Wall Genie is named after Ashley’s grandmother, Genie. She was a larger than life woman who left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Genie believed in big dreams and pushed Ashley to chase them. At just 18, she encouraged her to move to New York City and attend FIT to study textiles and build a creative life.

Genie was from Baton Rouge, and her spirit, strength, and unwavering belief in family continue to inspire everything we do today.

Her legacy lives on in every wall we paper.

The Next Chapter

From a Family Name to Wall Genie.

Ashley carried Genie’s encouragement with her into a creative career built around textiles, pattern, and eventually wallpaper.

What began as hands-on installation work has grown into Wall Genie, a professional wallpaper company serving homes and businesses throughout Louisiana.

Today, Wall Genie is a husband-and-wife team, with Ashley leading the installation side of the business and Steven focused on sales, marketing, and growth.

Wall Genie is growing beyond one installer. We’re building a team, expanding into new markets, and creating a better, more consistent way for customers to hire professional wallpaper installers.

The goal is simple: beautiful work, a professional experience, and a company built to serve Louisiana for years to come.
